New guy from GA
Just my second post - the first one was the annual contribution to support this forum! Figured that it was only fair that I paid for my education.
 My wife and I are approaching our 40th anniversary and I have finally reached the point that I can splurge a bit on some nice watches to celebrate that occasion. The closest thing I have to a nice watch is a 1963 Omega Constellation "pie pan" black dial that I've had for about 3 years. I've enjoyed it very much and have decided that it's now time to step up to a Rolex. Other than some general familiarity with the brand, and trying on a "base" Oyster Perpetual at the local AD (at least I've figured out what that means  ), I'm a real novice. So that's why I showed up here.Both my wife and I are pretty "low key" folks and I'm looking for some watches that fit our (rather conservative) personalities. Probably a 34mm Air King or Oyster Perpetual for me, and similar for her. I'm keeping a lookout on the board for prospects, so if anyone who reads this message knows of something that might fit the bill, please let me know. Regards, Mike Gray Perry, GA |
