Need some opinions
Thinking about keep my stainless steal Daytona instead of trading plus adding alot of money for the ceramic Daytona. And instead putting that money into an explorer 2.
The explorer was my first Rolex when I was 18 and sadly sold it . Should I go with the older style red hand or the orange hand ? |

It's good that you decided to keep the Daytona. It's a classic. The extra $$$$ could be put into better use and adding one more into the mix is a brilliant idea.
I would go with the classic red hand 16570. The size is about similar as the Daytona and if you enjoy wearing the Daytona, you will enjoy having the 16570 as a rotation... |

Stainless steel non ceramic Daytona is definitely a keeper in my opinion - very classic and iconic timepiece.

My vote goes to a polar, Explorer II, 16570. A black-dialed 16570 was my first Rolex, which I eventually sold. I would have kept the polar.

I'd take the 116500 over 116520 all day long...Simply no comparison IMHO. It just looks so much better to me.
PS Also prefer Orange Hand but would still trade for 116500!

Well, considering I've gotten rid of everything else and only wear the black 16570, I guess you know my answer. I'm partial to lug holes + SELs.

Both winners (16570 and 216570) for different reasons. I personally went with a polar 5 digit and the black 6 digit. You have to sort out which sings to you more.

Keep the Daytona and save for whichever Exp sings to you.

The red hand model fits me more comfortably, but the choice is what you like best!

I would keep the SS Daytona and get a 16570 with the opposite dial color. I'm still on the fence about the ceramic Daytona compared to the all-SS, and I certainly wouldn't spend the 7k premium on one right now, even if I loved it.

Keep the 116520 all day long.
As for Exp II, perhaps think of the opposite face to your Daytona. I feel your Daytona is black faced, go for an Exp II Polar. I'd go for the orange hand. Good luck

Obviously if you could get the ceramic at retail I think that is the far better looking option of the two (just my opinion, and not saying the SS is a dog, because it's still an awesome watch, I just think the ceramic is AMAZING!) That said, if you are going to have to add that much money to get the ceramic maybe it would be better off going towards a second watch |

Don't get an explorer II, get something you haven't owned before like a sub or gmt II, or if you want something less common and a bit cheaper than explorer I. Or even get a DJ.
