PP 14k yellow gold pocket watch

Hello I'm being offered this pocket watch. I know nothing about PP (or pocket watches) but figured maybe you guys could fill me in? Im told the watch is double-signed and the case looks original. It's being offered to me at $2000.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Movement looks ok But dial is cracked x2 which dramatically reduces value

I do not see the case signed PP.
I have only seen PP signed cases in 18k, not 14k.
If it is signed I am guessing that it is a signed contract case for Buhm Bristol.
In that case, usually the dials are signed by the jewelers as well.
If it is a man's watch, probably still worth 2 grand, but not a bargain.
If it is a ladies size then I would say too expensive.

I read your post over again.
Double signed, I assume movement and dial.
If case is not at least signed by the jeweler I would be skeptical that it was original.

Looked over the photos again, and noticed the case has the same serial number as the movement.
So I would say it did go together, but most likely a contract case.
I would buy for 2k if man's size. Not a huge bargain, but under the money.

Thank you all for the comments. I got called out of town so I missed this one. Seemed like a cool old watch, just not sure how much use I would've gotten out of it.
