Rolex Sub 116610 Replacement Bracelet Screw?

Hello everyone, long time lurker. Would you happen to know if I can find replacement screws for the Sub 116610 Bracelet somewhere other than an AD? If no, about how much do they go for at an AD?

I mangled the head of mine making a change in sizing.

Would you happen to know the size also?

You can take it in and have them polish it down so that the screw will sit flush.

Go to an AD. It's fairly cheap. Some ADs would even replace for you at no cost.

If you're lucky and have a Rolex location in your city, you should be able to walk right in and get it replaced for free.

When I purchased my DSSD back in 2009, the AD resized my bracelet and knarlled one of the screws. 5 years later I decided to get the screw replaced. Called Rolex Canada (in my city of Toronto) and asked how much for a new replacement screw. Told me about $20.

I walked in the next day. Watchmaker replaced it while I waited and gave me back my watch, service free of charge.

If you have to send it in, you're probably gonna have to pay for it.

Good thing you don't need an 18kt screw to a super jubilee band. They run $85.00 at the AD.

Good to mention. I learned the hardway how soft 18k gold screws are...
A tip is to craft a wooden screwdriver if one has to resize a DD regularly for due to the significant other wan'ts to borrow it.

I highly recommend getting a good quality screwdriver and heating the screw before unscrewing. I use a watchmaker's alcohol lamp.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. I spoke to the AD in my area and unfortunately they say they don't polish the heads. They also, told me the best they can do is order me some replacements. I'm hoping when I actually come in they can just swap them out with a few they may have on hand.

I see online that Essinger sells replacement Rolex Screws:

However I don't know the exact size. Do any of you know? Also, have any of you bought from this store before?

Going to have to agree that you need a good screw driver to take them out. Unfortunately however, the loctite is what did me in. Even though I did heat the bracelet a bit.

Honestly....you'd be better off ordering the entire link(s) rather than the screw. This way the screw head will sit 'factory flush' with the link end.

Screws are about $8 a pop from AD.

Not sure if the screws are the same for the SS Sub as they are for the SS GMT but here is the part number for the GMT. I had my AD order me a pack. They only come in packs of 5 and I paid $25.00

I'd go over to the AD and see what they have. They will usually have these screws in stock. New screws won't make it perfect but it will certainly make it look better.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they are the same size as a Sub C.

Also, I called my AD and they quoted me at $10 a screw as opposed to $8 each. The pack of 5 is a lot better price.

I looked at the screws on the Essinger website. While I'm sure they're good, first off, I wouldn't have any idea what size. Secondly, you have a Rolex, I'd want nothing but Rolex screws on it. But that's just me.

Looks like you need two. If they have them in stock and put them on at $10 a screw, that's $20 and you're done. You probably won't need the extra screws and you just saved $5.
