I thought that was a Fat Bob? Maybe it was my fat friend Bob on his Fat Boy, my memory isn’t what it used to be

True

And just like HD, Rolex mucked up the design by going oversized.
I honestly think the FLSTF was a nicer motorcycle all round with the 180 rear tyre. The squared off headlight was was also a mistake. IMO.

The Fat Boy was the one that sucked me back in to riding. In 1998 they were as hard to get as a Rolex. I had to go grey.. Two years later sold it to a buddy and got a new Heritage Softail at the AD..

Harley doesn't do anything right anymore. An all electric motorcycle that costs 25K USD? No wonder nobody wants their motorcycles anymore. The company is likely hanging on a thread for dear life. After 3 of them I just bought a nice used 2010 Goldwing with 4K original miles. Absolutely love it. And it was made in the USA. Marysville, Ohio.

Without taking sides on which is this or that, you have a beautiful watch and as such your pride in ownership is understood. Nice photos.

With each generation comes an delineating line that marks a shift in Rolex society. Every model offers something and this is inescapable. In ten or so years there will be another new reference to talk about.

Bottom line is there's plenty of room for displaying your admiration without taking digs or drawing lines in the sand for what you prefer. I think the headlines take away form the beauty of the watch.(speaking in general, not directed at op)

I like it, had the 114060, but after getting the 12 bluesy, I traded my 114060 for the 124060.
