Going round in circles now

Still contemplating my next purchase

Gone full circle. Was originally thinking AP diver then looked again at rolex followed by Zenith now back onto AP. Tried on day/date + diver today never considered DD before but I must say I loved the balance of the dial. Anyway loved them both although both completely different watches. Thoughts welcome guys

They look nice, but neither has crossed my mind.

Personally, I feel the RO is nicer when it's more simple like the 15202/15400, so I feel the dual circles throws off the look (same reason I don't love the ROC).

As for the Diver, it's the opposite where I feel a ROO should be a bit more complex, so in this case it's a bit too simple.

Both look nice, just my personal thoughts.

Between the 2, the DD does seem to look nicer on your wrist though.

I love the diver. I wear almost all the time. I do like the look of the DD. Tough call

The DD seems more symmetrical on your wrist.

The DD looks great - more so than the diver, IMHO.

They both look great! Difficult decision.... The Diver is a bigger piece.

Both lovely watches Kev. I would take both
The Diver looks more sporty (and it does look marvellous on a bracelet too !)

Now that would be the easy option to take both of them Geert
Its going to be difficult enough telling the wife i need one more watch never mind two
Yes i have seen pics here on the forum of the diver on bracelet and it does look very nice but i have to say after trying yesterday the rubber stap is so comfortable on the wrist

By the way i was told yesterday AP are phasing out the 39mm pieces can anyone confirm this

I share your pain- went from rolex -> pp -> ap ro -> jlc ->???

I like the diver better- to me the design fits in with the original RO design.
The 2 subdials in the OWL seem like they would be better suited to a dress watch, like a JLC or PP.

Owl, Bumblebee, Beetle (Survivor)... AP likes its animals as opposed to Rolex's superheroes and sodas.

Now that is funny!

I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you on that one though my friend, as much as I like the Diver the Day-Date would win this match for me. I do enjoy looking at a simple RO and this one has indeed a busier dial but at the same time I find the display of the complications pretty nice. As far as I'm concerned I'd rather get the model with the moonphase indicator as well but otherwise it's still a good choice to me.

I concede the watch is rather cute, but the Diver is pretty much my fav ss watch

I like the DD a lot.
Diver too, but prefer the sleeker look of the DD.
