My collection: slowly increasing
1. Rolex Sub 116610LN.
Bought this one brand new in June 2012. Took me about a month to find all the little protective plastic parts. Not much was left uncovered end even inside the bracelet som pieces of plastic where hidden. Ive always had this feeling about Rolex was for the newly rich and it was an overpriced piece in general. And here i am. With a rolex. And i love it. What a piece. 2. Grand Seiko SBGR023. Ive always been fascinated by the Grand Seiko history from the 60's where Seiko decided to make a superior watch and rising up to challenge the swiss. Seiko had always been known to produce cheap decent watches, but ultimately inferior to the swiss. I like the fighting spirit at Seiko. Even though this is a newer 2009-piece it still has that special Grand Seiko build quality and it reminds me about its provenance and history. I really like it but its 37mm is starting to feel a tad small. Might have to switch it for an 36000bhp manual wid - think that one is 41mm? 3. Omega Seamaster 200m "SHOM" 166.0177 (Watchco) WOW! I just fell in love this first time i saw it. What a ridiculous case with all these sharp angles! Still, it just mesmerizes me. When watchco started going nuts and putting entire inventory for sale at Ebay with deep discounts i snap-instant second-bought it. It originally came with the ploprofhands but I sourced original hands and had my watchmaker change them. Looks more "correct". Even with the abnormal case it wears very good. 4. Omega seamaster 300m 166.0324 (Watchco) Again, as an older Omega diver, i fell in love. Again. I cant really put it in words, but the design just appeals to me. No wonder Omega almost makes the 300m identical today. Sometimes a simple design just becomes legendary i guess, like submariner, nautilus and royal oak. I wears really well and feels super comfertable on the wrist. 5.Bulova Precisionist 96B129 Quartz? Damn right. Swinging 8 times faster than normal quartz (262khz vs 32khz) and continuis sweeping seconds hand that guarantees 10sec/year accracy (Breitling superquartz league). Crazy curved glass/case makes a, well, crazy but fun watch. Cheap beater with no really soul.

The sub and the seamaster (second one ) are my faves. Good on you though. Watches can be just like an addictive drug- but at least with expensive watches, the cost is less. Really it is.

Great collection! I love the GS but if the size bothers you go for a GS Chrono! That should give you a fully rounded collection!
