GMT Master 2 two-tone Basel 2018

Hi All,

This model re-fueled my love for two-tone Rolex on Oyster, and I would like to ask the forum if anyone has the experience in buying a new two-tone model upon release (in May from what i understand). What type of discount could be expected from a Rolex Boutique? what about ADs? Should the price after discount and tax return depending on the country be around 12000 USD?

Thanks.

You will get zero percent discount on the new TT 2018 Basel pieces from Rolex Boutiques. They are not allowed to do discounts

From an AD, you would be lucky if you paid MSRP. In some countries you may pay more than MSRP, especially for the new TT GMT rootbeer

Why should you get a discount?

No way they’ll be discounted anytime soon. If you wait a couple of years you might be able to get a 10-15% discount.

Curious to see myself.

I think the demand is going to be pretty strong on this one. The grays are already asking above MSRP, a bad sign for discounts.

These will be hot for a while and no bargains to be had.

I don’t think they will be terribly hard to source but I wouldn’t expect any discounts for a while
