RG daytona vs RG Cellini (which would you pick?)

Hello all. Im a big fan of the rg daytona on leather strap as most of you already know.
Believe it is 1 of the few daytonas that you could call a 'dress watch'
However just come across this cellini!
Which one would you guys pick and why??
Also cellini says 39mm so guessing not much diff in size?
Thanks all pics below

The Daytona is iconic. I always like the rg with chocolate dial. Would never consider any Cellini. If you want a dresss watch like that, I suggest another brand.

Both are glorious timepieces!

Honestly, there are no wrong answers here...

But, I think I would end up going for the Daytona.

Going to go against the grain and go with the Cellini. I have never liked any Daytona, and I own a Cellini Prince with the display back. The dials on the Cellini watches are exquisite. The Cellini has the extra advantage of being so rare that no one else in the same room is likely to have one.

The workmanship on the Cellini is a step above any Rolex Daytona with the exception of the gem-set bezel and indicator models. If I was to own a Daytona, that would be the only one I would consider, and I prefer the gem-set GMT.

I'm thinking about the intent of the use for the watch. For dress, Cellini, for casual the Daytona.

Have to go Daytona, unfortunately not enough love for the Cellini. Too bad, it's beautiful watch.

Daytona, but personally, I would prefer another dial color. the choco dial is hard to read in low light. but i guess you can get used to it. And I prefer simpler dial with no arabic numbers

I have to say, I love that Cellini, really stands out, I think it is elegant and utterly unique in a way no other Rolex can be.

Love that Rolex Prince posted by farscott as well.

Personally, stand aside, outside and unique, I'd go Cellini...amazing looking reference IMO.

Man...the Cellini is actually pretty sweet because it's different.

However, the color combo on that Daytona is also gorgeous.

I like the higher contrast in colors of the Daytona, but the Cellini is easier to read the time, imo.

daytona, but i would put it on OF. If you want a leather strap i actually prefer the Cellini.

I was in the exact same situation as you. I was looking at purchasing the rose gold Cellini as my dress watch of choice but ended up buying that same daytona with the dial, but with an oysterflex band. My choice was/is not as dressy as with the leather band but I have no regrets. I enjoy my daytona very much.

The Daytona. I can't imagine a single situation where it would not be considered entirely appropriate as a dress watch.
