Wow! Amazing bezel color in the above pic. Probably my favorite of all the 5series LVs. Looks fantastic on the jubilee!

Beutiful watch - Congratulations - I'm desperate to join, but unfortunately can't find one at a reasonable price anymore.
The vintage Seamaster sat next to it in your watch box looks interesting..

Yeah 16610lv’s are getting more expensive by the minute. The Seamaster 300 is a 1969 that was sold in the USA (per the Extract of the Archives)

I have to admit: I am a little bit nervous at the moment. I might be a Kermit owner... I have read everything that can be read of Kermit via internet. I bought one last Thursday and tomorrow I will get the package: Kermit, early F1..-series, with small scratches, with box and papers... after receiving the Kermit tomorrow, I have 14 days to return it, if something comes up. I have already talked with my local Rolex AD that they will check the watch that it is authentic and that everything is allright from the inside. I will get official appraisal for this. I have never bought anything this expensive that is pre-owned... Is the Kermit truly authentic? How does it look for real with the age and some scratches? Is it that amazing what I’ve learned reading several articles and experiences? That I will find out tomorrow... Truly first world problems...

The serial number and model number will be no different then any other submariner, the only thing that tells you it’s a Kermit are the papers or RSC has access to master list

You are so right: for example the model number in the papers is just 16610, without the LV! But the professionals can verify if the papers are authentic, that the bezel is authentic and from 2003-2004 and the dial aswell... and that the inside: everything is working and that the watch itself is not like constructed Frakenstein Kermit -lookalike..

Not correct. The "papers" state 16610V and 16610LV like this:

But what I have understood, this is not always the case (please tell me if I am wrong); here are some pictures of the papers of different Kermit-watches; last one with LV, others without:

... and by the looks of your card you have the papers from the changed package (from 2005—). Before that the whole package and papers looked very different:

If you are right with your statement:
Then 5 out of 6 Kermit Flat 4 -watches that are sold online, can be identified as fake rightaway: on the papers the model number is 16610 instead of 16610V or 16610LV.
But I think that you are wrong, sorry to say. Kermit can be marked three different ways: 16610, 16610V and 16610LV.
Also you can find this from earlier models:
Those of you who have earlier Kermit-models with papers: what is the truth?

You're probably right. I'm glad I don't wear box and papers.
