Does anyone know the cost of the strap if you had to order a different size? And is there really an 8 month wait?? That would suck to buy one second hand and not be able to wear it.

This was my concern as well, which is why I stayed away unfortunately.

Perhaps a rubber b would work in the interim?

Question to long time owners - how does rubber strap stand against scratches?

You're more worried about the rubber scratching than the gold?

No scratches on mine, but not heavily worn. I can't really remember getting scratches on other rubber bands from other watches though. I would def be more concerned about scratching to gold.

Took 10 days to get my strap section after sizing and ordering from the AD. $300 for just the single section. Ain't cheap. Price is free if you buy the watch from them but mine was secondhand.

Well, in the context of a $25,000 watch, $300 for a single piece side of the strap I suppose isn't too bad.

And 10 days is better than 8 months.

Now to just find $20,000 lying around. :)
