What’s best for long term storage?

Some of us buy a watch and lock it away in a safe or deposit box. I was thinking the coffins might be best but I’m not sure. Would the styrofoam degrade and leave a mark on the watch after so many years?
What is the consensus for a long term means of storage, long term being many years

According to google it takes 500 years for styrofoam to decompose. Try to get back to your watch before then and I’m guessing you’ll be fine
