I’m told it’s the same colour as previous salmon dials.

Just checked the price. I might not be adding one to my collection any time soon.
My AD said this would be much easier to get than the 5740. When I saw both on pics I preferred the 5270, but seeing them in video the Nautilus is more stunning

I guess that will be down to Nautilus demand and who you are but for sure 5270 will be a far lower production piece.

I like them, otherwise the dial can be a bit bottom heavy.

Agree, although I've seen pictures that look quite the opposite. And, we all know about Karl's photography skills! The proof will be when it's seen in person.

The old PCCs looked more like this which is gorgeous. Maybe better lighting will help. Until then hang on to your RG!

Damn- I can’t wait for that 5270P. My intention was to always have one complicated PP, and this is it!

As Roger mentioned in another thread- do you buy it now at MSRP to lock one in, or assume it should perform like other 5270? I have no idea- as everything is unpredictable right now!

If the history of 5970p repeats, how much time left do we have for this 5270p? can’t recall how many years 5970p were on the market before it discontinued.

I need to digest the four incomings I have coming within the next two weeks and will then turn my attention to buying strategy for this one.

Man I wish they would have used that combo on the 5170P. I always thought a 5170G white dial clone with salmon would be sick.

Yes.....they sure did. Steve Patek needs to pay you for commission for the use of this picture alone. That is all.

I totally agree.
Every time I see your posting of this watch, I can't help thinking what a stunning beauty this is.
Two awards should be given. One to PP Designer and the other to Stephen for enabling. Please continue to post.

This is certainly the way many of us feel. A 20% loss at this price level is serious money. I know there are no guarantees, but it would be nice to know it will simply hold its value before taking the plunge.

Don’t get me wrong guys! Major lust over the 5170P as is!

I just prefer simpler watches that are easy to set when in manual wind configuration and the salmon dial is something I adore for some odd reason. Conditioned by trf and watch auctions maybe I don’t know lol
