Most AD's, especially on lower costing, popular models like this will kindly say no thank you....been my experience at least. Good luck though!
Maybe in the US that is the case. I walked into my AD in Toronto and got 17.5% off of my 114060 just by asking. It was my first purchase there, and the same discount has applied to subsequent purchases as well, including Tudor.

One approach is to say "If I buy it today and NOT shop around, can you work with me a little on the price?" If he asks what you have in mind, throw out 10%. If he says no, tell him you want to shop around and that you may come back.

This puts it on him to keep you from walking out the door. But be prepared to leave - you can come back the next day if you want to buy it anyway.
I like this approach. Also, make it a cash deal - no credit cards, bank checks, etc. Cash in your pocket will further entice the dealer.

Might definitely be the case. In the US we do not normally haggle for prices and the posted price is what you pay...but from experience from my overseas stays it seems that folks are more used to haggling for the actual cost of items. Best of luck

Cash is king as they say. I'd say if you're shopping for a discount, it's worth using those lines mentioned above at different ADs in your area - you never know...
