I have tried on both, and would definitely go for the taupe dial chrono. That dial is special, and I like having the ceramic bezel. This presumes the $13k difference at retail is no concern and you have a strong enough relationship with the boutique to get the taupe chrono at MSRP.

Out of the two the chrono, no contest. Add a black strap.

Ok there is a price difference but the 43 is step up. The ceramic bezel alone makes it worth it (looks, no scratches)

The Diver you’ve chosen is the top pick from the new Divers and the same goes for your choice of 43mm chrono which imo is the most special in the range.

Out of those 2 I’d choose the chrono…the ceramic bezel means that you can wear the watch without needing to be super careful with scratches on the bezel and I also find chronos more interesting watches.

+1 for the chrono and its ceramic bezel.

My heart stops whenever I accidentally bump my watches on some random object. With the ceramic you don’t need to worry about that.

Taupe by miles.

But I'm not a green type of person, so I'm very biased in that regard. Even then, the new ROO is amazing. Felt nothing when held the diver.

Well this is a hard choice. I was lucky enough to pick up a khaki green diver in early April, it's an absolute stunner! However, I often find myself babying the watch due to the stainless steel bezel.

I like it that you’re now spending £34,000 based on a poll on the internet

I saw the smoke grey and tried it on in person this week. It is absolutely stunning and would definitely be my choice.
