Pink and Purple Bezel

Saw a Pepsi in a grey dealers and had some time to kill so decided to try it on. It was obviously grey market prices. This was a 2018 production model but the colouring on the Bezel definitely looked wrong. It was not red and blue. Are the newer Pepsi’s better colouring or owners of a 2019 model to you look at your watch and think it is pink and purple?

yes, its definitely not red and blue as the aluminum bezel version. Rolex cant replicate the colour on ceramic.

Ha, when I saw the title of your thread in the Panerai forum, I was wondering which Panerai you were asking about.... ;-)

Looks like a MK1 version. That being said, I would think the dealer's lighting is exaggerating the pink/blue. The MK2 has darker colors. Many threads on this topic.

Yep I have seen a few threads on this. It is the first time I actually saw a Pepsi in the flesh and I know the dealers lights might make the colours stand out but the sun would also that wouldn’t it? I mean the colours look completely wrong on this one.

I think it's more a matter of personal preference....some really prefer the MK1 due to it being closer to the bake-lite version of yesteryear. YMMV.

If you bothered to read my second post you will see that I said whoops made a mistake and asked the moderators to move the thread over to the Rolex forum. I was in Tapatalk and was in the panerai section without realising.

Basically your comment was not needed. And HE has a name so you could have asked me directly.
