Bvlgari Octa Finissimo - tons of wrist Pics from the boutique today

Was at Saks today and tried on the Finissimo. It is superb and spectacular. There were some comments it felt light and delicate and I do have to disagree, it felt very durable. The styling of it is avant-garde, the movement is just massive at 38mm while being the thinnest mechanical movement in the world. It is jaw dropping, and the bracelet is incredibly comfortable. The brushed titanium feels incredible. I want this so badly... Here are photos.

Thank you for sharing. The full body shot hits home. I’ve handled this model in the Bvlgari boutique, but not recently. The styling looks “space-age” or something similar. It’s a stunner!

Great pics! I had the chance to try It on a few months ago. Great watch. The one thing that really bothered me though was the lack of minute markers.. just couldn’t get past that (when thinking abutt buying).

Looks great. I believe this will be a future classic much like the RO. Truly unique design and innovative movement. I wish my small wrists could pull it off. But it's so thin that it looks even broader than normal on me.

I bought mine about 6 weeks ago and it has hardly left my wrist.
It is a unique timepiece, feels great on the wrist and is a great conversation piece, as i have found, with fellow WIS and friends.
Great pics BTW

It sure feels great on the wrist although light if I swap straight from DayDate.

As much as it is an impressive piece I am contemplating selling mine. I just haven't found a natural place in the collection for it to be in rotation. Due to the darkness and lack of lume I think its best used during the day.

When do you wear yours and what has it replaced in your rotation?

I like the design of the watches but could not see one finding a home in my collection.

Gotta be honest, I just cant get into the look. I’ve read up on the piece and am impressed by the technological innovation. But something about the visual presence just doesn’t resonate with me. Oh well, I guess that’s what makes this hobby so enjoyable.

Nonetheless, thanks for sharing the pictures!

That watch is awesome. Too bad it only has 30m wr, though.

Not sure 30m is really a detriment. I don’t see myself going in the ocean or a 100 foot deep pool w this particular piece - doesn’t strike me as a beach or pool watch. My bathtub is less than 3 feet deep

I see what you mean and you're probably right, as in real life scenarios it's unlikely to make any difference. It's just a pet peeve of mine when watches on bracelets have to be careful with water.

Go for it, you wont regret. Bought mine 2 weeks ago and have been wearing it since. It is very comfortable, the design is amazing and the slim profile is something I am enjoying.

Surprisingly, a lot of people I met this past days that arent WIS have pointed to the watch and said how different and nice it was.

It’s like a Panerai, AP, and a Bell and Ross all had a hot night together and this was make. It’s definitely unique but I am not a fan of the look.

I can appreciate it but can’t see myself ever being like wow, I need that.

The thinness is the only thing I really like.

Mine is a warm weather short sleeve piece. In the safe, competitors are GMT-II CHNR, 15202ba and Explorer.

Mmm maybe since it is a new watch design it has the advantage of not being prejudiced to any one category. I'd think it also goes well with a suit, white shirt and grey tie or jeans and a sweater.

Keeping it for a while more to try get more usage out of it as I do like the design.

Love it. What size is your wrist if I may ask?
