Genuine clasp blade?

Hi all,
Does this blade look genuine to you?

Thanks,
Mo

Fake, the top swirls by the crown are both coming from underneath. On an authentic blade one comes from over and one from under..

The quality and the crown looks pretty average.

x2. The OP’s example appears to have the typical stamping of a fake.

Here is a genuine blade. When you look at the scroll work, the loop on the left comes from the bottom side and the loop on the right comes from the top side. (Both loops are highlighted by the orange pointer.)

Sometimes these loops do not photograph well due to light reflections and/or polishing in the past. I've seen genuine blades that appear aftermarket due to the appearance of both loops originating from the same side when in fact, one is on the top and the other originated from the bottom.

I would suggest swaini check the scroll work closely and determine where the looped swirls originate.

Sometimes it’s easier to discern the scroll work from the other side of the blade...ask for close-ups from the underside.

It is genuine - after checking the OP's link to eBay and zooming in - you'll see it too.

What I find unusual too are the Es of "REGISTERED" , they're curved in this one where in the others I've seen, they're straight.

This! The ‘e’s”!! Plus the X on OP’s looks like a cartoon, fat and goofy.
