Help ID'ing an older Oyster Perpetual (69?)

Hi everyone. I have a friend who asked if I could help him find out anything on watch. He tells me it belonged to an uncle who recently passed away. Because wearing modern day (5 and 6 digit) Rolex models qualifies me as an expert on all things Rolex I guess lol.

I started looking around but couldn't find anything similar to it by simply trying to match up old Oyster Perpetual images.

The gold looks faded significantly which caught my eye as that would cause me to think it's not solid gold. Did Rolex make gold oyster perpetual models.

Can anyone identify the model and year? I tried but couldn't find much but I started with an 1969 OP. Which I realize it may not be from 69 but instead just inscribed in 69.

Thoughts and comments appreciated. Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place for this thread and question. But I know I'd get a much better response here than in the general forum.

Thank you.

Did you remove the bracelet and look between the lugs? Also, can you try to post better photos? Large, in focus, crop out everything but the watch.

No, they were texted to me. I'm sure the bracelet hasn't been removed at all. Excellent point/suggestion though. I'll see if he can manage to get the bracelet off and send better pics.
