It appears it is a remake of a Minerva 22 calibre. Information from p.com.

This isn't a case of not having the cash I'm afraid. They are only making 500 and they are almost all spoken for already I'm sure.

Out of that list I want the 424. The SE models never make it to Canada not point on even looking at them.

Several I'd like to own. The 422, 423 especially. And the ceramics look great too. I think you'd get used to seeing the word 'ceramic' there.

Do you think the "aged patina" is getting slightly boring now? Almost ALL the new releases will be in this shade of Patina. I have owned the 390, 359 and madrid boutique edition, and I got bored of them all within 2 months or so.

Fake patina is all the craze at various Richemont brands.

so.....the 448...........love it, love it, love it. don't know if 47 would work for me, though. mik's post on the 210 has got me thinking about the last of the 45 mm rads....

anyway, one thing that kind of bugs me about the 448 is the "vintage" engraving on the 6 o'clock side of the case. okay, yes, it's a reference to a vintage model, but, the watch is a new watch with a new in-house movement. why include the word "vintage"? just a little silly and immature, IMHO....the "california" engraving i can excuse, though.

just a little criticism....and a way for me to get comfortable with the fact that i will never source one of these from a boutique.

I'm just glad they didn't Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified or something like "Frogman prototype vintage collectors diving instrument" on it... ;-)

But I agree, the 448 tops the offering this time around.

422 is 100% going to be the next watch. Picked up the 111 couple of months ago and thought it looks like the same watch but brownish. Then i realized is 47mm, and the Logo engraved on the dial!!! When can we expect releases?

That's my favorite of the bunch. I called both Beverly Hills and NYC and the waiting list is a mile long. The list for the 424 and the 422 weren't bad and I was supposedly near the top. The sales associate at the Beverly Hills Boutique estimated a price of near 11 k for all three pieces but wouldn't give me a concrete number. October was the date both stated, though sometimes you can get one in July. They did say they didn't expect many more 390s. Called my local AD and asked what they had... not much. I'm wondering if they're just going to go the boutique only model which I think Rolex and Omega are starting to push. Say bye to discounts .

448 and 449 .... OK,so 500 only of each, makes it rather difficult to find. Then,"boutique only",makes it impossible.I think this "boutique only" policy is absolutely rubbish !! Someone working for a salary at a boutique, will never give the same service compared to the AD owner.
