Sea-Dweller 4000 with Super Jubilee ?

Some of you may have noticed that I like to change straps on my highly loved SD-C (ref 116600)

Now, a few weeks back i got the freshly released Rubber B for my watch. It comes with thinner springbars (same thickness on the part that goes into the lughole as the original so no wear there)

As I have always loved the 70's look of the jubilee bracelet, I am wondering if this may fit if I was to employ these thinner springbars with the jubilee? Or anyone has an Idea on how much modification (on the bracelet) it would take to get the Super Jubilee to fit?

Appreciate your feedback ;-)

It's different. I would much rather have it on the oyster bracelet though or your other straps

doesn't look "tough enough" for the watch?

The polished links are a bit too dressy for the Dweller.

I really like the look, and I think I will get an original.
Also I would get the centrelinks brushed.

why not, you can always change it.

curious, was the original jubilee made with the cut outs/slots required for watches without lugholes? or were they all made with hollow end links?

This could be an obstacle?

VERY valid point. I think I remember that the non-super jubilee are made for lughole-watches... and right now I am actually leaning towards that type of jubilee as they are slightly more tool...

Not sure when jubilee or super were in production but around serial P or K is when the slots began to appear in the solid end links.

If the hollow end links I'm sure they could be modified or something could be fabricated.

That sounds promising, THANKS!

Any idea how much either of them are on stock price?

Looks fine to me. No different than a GMT with a jubilee IMHO.

...though quite nice, it changes the looks to a "Made in PRC" watch.

Curmudgeon here...SD never came with a Jubilee and it shouldn't have one. Just my .02.

Looks a bit too dainty for the more rugged SD.

Sea-Dweller 4000 with Super Jubilee ?

Could it be that the ref I should be looking for is 62510??

On a side-note: After doing a bit of research, it seems that a few Sea-Dwellers was actually delivered with a jubilee bracelet for the american market. It seems this goes for the ref 16660??

Something about the polished center links of the jubilee, shiny ceramic bezel and matte dial... it's too much for me. Glad you like it.

Both parts look great, like Burt Reynolds and Jennifer Lawrence, but they are not meant to be together...

Jennifer Lawrence? She is goodlooking, but no dream of mine. But just like my bracelet of choice, I choose my ladies with great care:
