372: diminished power reserve

My 372, which used to run for 80 hours, now runs for just about two days. On top of that, it stops winding at about 45 turns (where it used to be a lot more). The watch is under warranty still so I will eventually send it back to Paneria (the second time this watch will have gone back in the year I've had it)...but any thoughts on what the problem might be?

With my limited knowledge, I'd think a faulty spring! My 372 winds 80 turns.

Faulty spring seems likely but I was wondering if anyone knew how the two barrel winding mechanism worked in more detail. I guess one of the two barrels is fine since it winds about halfway and runs for about half as long as it should...pretty bad that I should have to send the same watch back so soon.
