Strangely they get relatively little publicity here on the forum. It time; show your Justa Oyster Perpetual if you've got them and love them.

I've had two; the first one I traded in on a SubC but almost immediately regretted it; it's been replaced and won't be leaving again.

Then...

and now...

I love the dial.

Great strap.

What is the mm size of the strap for the OP39? Have you ever tried a leather strap on the OP39? I wander how a leather strap would suit the size proportions and esthetic design of the rhodium 39.

It's a 20 mm.

Nope.

I guess it would depend on the type leather. The dial color may influence the type leather one chose, too.
The strap and clasp actually feel a bit flimsy. Looks good in pictures but I don't use it.

Hope that helps!

I had it done by the seller before I purchased it. Not the best job unfortunately.

I did the same to my Hulk and had ABC Watchwerks do the work. They were fantastic.

The second shot also makes it look like it would show wear pretty easily. I doubt I'd wear it either. I've not been enticed by those staps.

Not many Air-Kings shown here

I would feel remiss if I didn't list my 114200...I think the white dial and romans make for a classic look

I think the lack of AKs in the thread are because they're AKs and not OPs.

I have a oyster perpetual that was my dads, he bought it in the 50’s serial number is real hard to see it looks like #23795, also brevet with a cross on it, there is also a stamp on it looks like a squirrel, and below the squirrel are four stars.
I have been researching, and learned that the squirrel means 14caret and the serial number says it was made in 1926, can anyone help me with any additional information thank you

those green dials are only 34mm? they don't look too small at all. you'd think a 34 to 39 would be a huge difference...
