Only the Submariner Date has the AR coating. It's applied under the cyclops on the crystal.

my understanding is no rolex has AR coating, except maybe on the cyclops like noted above. is there a reason for this? does it degrade over time? i wish my new explorer had it as i have difficulty taking pics and really have to mess with the angle of the pic to get a decent dial shot. lol.

NO Rolex have A/R coating under the crystal; but, there is A/R coating under the cyclops for modern references, including the Submariner Date.
