Any word on whether Panerai is coming out with additional BMG Big Tech watches?

I absolutely love the science behind the materials of this watch, and would have absolutely bought the PAM 692 if it came out in a 44mm instead of just the 47, but it wasn't meant to be.

I haven't been able to find out whether there other BMG watches on the horizon, as this watch was limited production, but I thought I recall reading that Panerai may be making more of these in the future.

They have to release the 692 first. 🤣

Really hard to say given the problems they’re having with the 692. On one hand I’d say no given the problems. On the other I’d say yes given the time and money they’re likely spending solving the problems. May need to release more to recoup the R&D.

lol........say what!??

the 692 hasn't even been released yet !?? What cave have I been living in......doh.

I talked to my AD and she simply told me she couldn't get a hold of one, but didn't tell me it hand't been released. Well that explains a lot.

Also, what issues have they been having with it that you're referring to?

Yeah there is no ETA at the moment for the BMG. they had the same thing with the composite material they created many years ago which they didn’t release for a long time after SIHH. hopefully it won’t be that long for the BMG

What exactly is the issue? Did the materials not hold up with (mass) production of the watch?

If/when this watch ever gets released in a 44mm, I will be beyond ecstatic.
