If you had 7,000$ to spend on a watch...

Which one would you buy?

It would depend on what I wanted.

Dress watch?
Sports watch?
Complications?
Bracelet or strap?
What else I already owned?

There are thousands of watches out there, good luck.

I was going to say an Omega Speedy Pro. But for myself, I'd get a Sub. (already have a Speedy Pro.)

16600. Classic silhouette and the most watch you can get for that budget.

I was going to say this, or an Exp2 42mm.

I'd either get a SubC ND or a GMT LN.

For me, a Panerai 422, 1305 or throw a little extra in for a 233. Not sure which one yet but one of those three.

To be honest, and with current Rolex pricing, I would be looking at Tudor.

I would be all over a Pelagos and the new GMT for roughly that amount of money.

1) SubC used, 116610LN/114060
2) DJ41 NEW smooth bezel
3) Air King or Explorer I new.

Curious....is everyone picking the nd sub due to the price limit and therefore can’t get the sub date at that price? Or do you just prefer the nd over the sub date?

I’ve had both and prefer the no date.

I picked it because of the price, however the date/no date is just a preference. I see both watches more or less as equals. If you had the extra money I would still say either/or. Personally i like having a date.
