How much are you willing to pay for the new datejust 41?

It's basically out of stock everywhere in the AD. Would you pay retail price for it if it's available? Or would you wait for the price to come down?

I’d think no more than 3-4 weeks tops.

I think it's because they just came out. I called many AD and they are all out of stock. Especially the black and the blue fluted. Takes 4-6 weeks if special order. Otherwise wait.

Which ones? The blue and black SS DJ41s debuted in 2017.

I wouldn’t settle for msrp or above, you should be able to grab a discount on it.

That model debuted in 2017, and should have been hitting the shops last fall. That's still a relatively new model, but considering the DJ is the model Rolex actually makes readily available, wait times should be minimal. If Rolex can't supply DJs, they really are having problems.

I've been thinking of one for awhile. Not a hot piece to me, so a little patience should pay off for a discount. Smooth bezel, silver face for me.

Where in CA are you located? I've been to several AD's in the Bay Area...readily available in almost every imaginable combination. I feel like its' the only ones they are getting at the moment from Rolex!!!
And yeah, definitely room to negotiate.

I have been thinking of one myself but I would be looking for a discount to MSRP.

DJ to Rolex is like bacon and eggs at a greasy spoon. You can't wait very long for that.

The last few times I've been to the bigger stores here in Dubai the selection in store has been poor but they did say they get regular deliveries and that they are usually gone within 2 to 3 days.

They're selling well and they're quite popular it seems but they can be had quite easily. I can't talk about discount as Rolex have stopped all discounts here as far as I know.

That's right. Don't know what's happening in Dubai and the UAE at the moment. Almost all sports steel watches are hard to get and very little in terms of waiting lists too!

I've been asking around for a Sub Date. I just get dismissed instantly. They won't even add me to a list now. I'll persist though. I'm going to go to Luxury Souq and see what their prices are like. They told me a new Sub Date was roughly AED 35k.

Dubai Mall look like they're opening a brand new 2 storey shop. No idea what they're going to fill it with if there's no stock.
