Sub no date.. embarassingly enough, I am a breaker of things, so I'm REALLY afraid that I will break a watch when I try to set the date.

Is there a Yachtmaster in the works for you ?

Hi Hamtaro! If you're a 'breaker', then the Sub will be a great watch for you! Tough as nails!

It's not as bad as you might think (setting the date). I think you will love the Sub. And there might be a Yachtmaster...stranger things have happened.

Bump !

Finley will have her own post soon, but until then.. here's mine (finally!) -

rolex.jpg

(excuse the poor photo quality - the d40 is AWOL!)

It does ride up quite high on my wrist/arm - but just waiting for a nato/rubber to fix that..

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, Hamtaro!!! If I am ever in a position to buy a second Rolex, this will be it! And I love it with your bracelets...it's perfect! So happy for you!

P.S. - This deserves its own thread!

New to the forum, I snapped a very quick pic of my wife's daily beater (Ladies Presidential) next to my daily beater (Submariner Date). The dial, bezel, case, and band have had aftermarket diamonds added; its her birth stone, so I couldn't say no when she asked I couldn't/wouldn't buy authentic Rolex diamonds due to price, so we went cheaper aftermarket. There are a total of 302 diamonds on hers, and 0 on mine

Great shots, everyone. I want to get my wife a Rolex so it's nice to see the choices out there and how the larger watches sit on smaller wrists. They look great!
