What do folks do for a living?

Curious how everyone here saved up for their collections :) I'll start off - I work as a corporate banker for oil and gas companies. Been saving for the last 10 years to finally be able to afford a Rolex lol.

I’m just a salesman. I’m not good at anything so I have to sell stuff to others who are good at doing things

Baaahahaha! Outstanding. Recall! Well, I guess if I have accomplished that then I have seen success in this world.

FYI, residential urinals should absolutely be a thing

I am not good at saving, I usually just buy if I have funds, and stay away if funds are dry. First Rolex, tripple-six, bought in 1984, for 1/3 of my then young engineer's salary. Wife did it. :) A few months later I reciprocated - now permanently on my daughter's wrist.

In between, a professional wedding photographer as well as also having had a business designing and installing saltwater aquariums.

That’s a gig that will be really good for the foreseeable future! Data centers are the new Walmart.

Before I hung up my hat, I argued with various sized Cisco routers trying to get them to see reason. Mostly successful. This was done so some of you could talk and surf on your wireless phones (certain carrier). You are welcome.
