I just joined the forum
I like to add a bit to the original question
To my knowledge, they normally do not polish the crown
Perhaps, the round end is a bit too difficult to do and moreover the person needs a loupe to see in details. So they don't bother do that crown bit

I own a few used Rolex and all of them had been polished except the crowns
You can see if the watch had been rough time by looking at the crown

To my eye, yes, it has been very lightly polished.

I'm wearing my Exp II today and compared to the pics you posted. Doesn't appear to have had any, but the images aren't close up macros so hard to see the finer details.

Well watch is from 2005/6 if it has been serviced then yes its been polished. If watch has not been serviced its in remarkable condition for its age.Cannot see any problem if it has been polished as long as it was done correctly.A proper polish only removes a very very tiny bit of metal that watch is good for another 30 plus years of normal service polishing.
