Flipper is just someone who buys a good and sells it within a certain time frame regardless of a profit or loss. That time frame though, varies amongst individual opinions. But at eod, who cares if you are or not... if you're satisfied with the results, then great!

If so, or if not, why? How do you define a flipper?
You sold "a bunch of watches" some of which have bought within a year. You must be a hell of a customer to be able to buy so many sought out watches to then sell at a profit (I assume). And you are asking us if you are a flipper or not ?

if you have worn them and did not buy them with a sole purpose of selling for revenue than no.

If you have a collection of watches and sell some after owning and wearing them for a while then for me you are not a flipper.
Completely agree.

Collectors and hobbyists always have evolving tastes and will make incremental changes every now and then as to what they place in the watch box.

Need more information to answer this… like what does a “bunch” of watches mean? What did you sell, exact timeframe and what do you still have?
