How cheesy is this?

Obviously a champaigne dial was swapped out for MOP but the champaigne date wheel was not. Yuck! |

The contradiction looks cool, imo... I think I like it.

Maybe what bother me is that it announces that the dial is not original.
I'm a stickler for keeping my Rolexes all Rolex. |

The dial most likely is a Rolex OEM. No reason to put an aftermarket since the old dials on the 36mm models are easy to be had from $125. to $175.

I don't think it looks terrible, but the date window looks really odd and throws off the symmetry of the dial.
The seller says it's an aftermarket dial. It says the band is also aftermarket and it has the coronet on it, which essentially makes it counterfeit, if I'm not mistaken. The clasp does look genuine. And that's going for almost $11,000? |

I'm not too bothered by it, but it implies "frankenwatch" IMHO.
Knowing it's aftermarket doesn't help either.

No, it's a buy BIN for $2500. But the AF bracelet makes it a trademark issue!
