My current collection .... pics

Hi everyone. First of all let me wish you all the very best of health in these trying times.

And for those isolating, thank god for TRF .

So here is my humble collection. I’ve been collecting for just over 2 years. I started with the BLRO, then the sub, the CHNR and my most recent addition is the WG Daytona. All of these are from the same AD.

I love all of them for different reasons but the BLRO gets the most wrist time.

When life gets back to normal, I wouldn’t mind adding a white dial 116500 and Hulk. Aside from these, there is not much else in the current lineup that draws me.

Thanks for reading!

Hey John, heck of a collection you've got so far for only being in the game for two years! By adding the Panda and Hulk that'll give you 2 divers, 2 gmts, 2 cosmographs....epic.

Fantastic collection with PM pieces, a Rolesor, and a SS while also including lots of color. Love the variety even within the same time period and 3 of the 4 having the same case shape.

Love it. Some of my favorite references here, especially the TT CHNR and WG blue dial Daytona.

There’s a lot of love for the Daytona here!

Gotta say, I do love it, but a maxi case is hard to beat.

Nice array of watches.
GMT, Submariner and Daytona is cream of the crop selection.
The blue dial WG Daytona is unusual, understated.

Thanks, it’s easily my favorite too.
I wear all of them in rotation but the BLRO gets the most time, the CHNR the least. Not because I don’t like it, because it suits my casual dress style the least.

That is quite the collection. Congratz.

How do you like the Daytona? I'm casually looking at these WG blue pieces, now that prices are starting to fall... I wouldn't be against adding a blue dial to the collection, but have heard mixed reviews and have yet to see one in real life.

My current collection .... pics

Oops, EDIT:
my post below is a reply to a question by Spare .....

I decided to buy it when I saw a guy in a cafe wearing one. It looked amazing on him. So I asked my AD and got it 3 weeks later.

When I first put it on it looked really stunning, nothing like my other watches. It looks kind of glamorous and dressier too. It feels more formal, perhaps it has something to do with the slim case, it definitely wears smaller than a GMT or Sub.

The blue dial is pretty special too. It is a nice change to my other pieces. Hey, it’s a PM Daytona and that almost speaks for itself
