Trade BLRO for Yachtmaster Everose?

I was lucky enough to get a BLRO early in 2019 but just don’t wear it all that often as I wear my BLNR far more.

Have always been drawn to the 126655 Yachtmaster Everose on the oysterflex.

I know it’s my choice but, hey, we’re all a little bored at home right now so I thought I’d see the public opinion to help me weigh the options.

Thanks for any input!

It all depends on what you value the most! If the BLRO was at retail and you’re getting an even trade for the Yachtmaster on Oysterflex you’re making out pretty well especially if its what you really want. I do love the oysterflex too.

if you don't wear it then it makes a lot of sense to take advantage of the premium on it to upgrade, if you bought it at retail that is

I am not a fan of OF and the YM line. I would only trade the SS BLRO for the all WG or RG GMT.

I agree that the BLNR is more wearable and nicer than BLRO. I also think the ER YM is a stunning piece and would compliment the BLNR very well. As mentioned above, take advantage of the high trade in value of the BLRO towards the new YM

The YM ever rose is a nice watch but I just think the BLRO is more versatile so I wouldn’t do it...but that’s just me and I really like the GMT.

I would deffo do the trade but I would be curious how much more you would have to add on top.

Thanks, all. Appreciate the perspective!

As for value, I haven’t followed the yachtmasters all that closely. Do you think I’d be able to trade pretty square or have to kick in much on top?

Yes. The OF YM might be the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn.

i think theyre around 20-23k for the older model (pre 2019) so you'd be adding quite a bit especially considering the current state of things

The RG on oysterflex is pretty nice, and if you are eyeing that and can get an even trade I'd do it. Sounds to me you are leaning towards the trade and looking for convincing otherwise, in which case I say do it.

RG doesn't look good on me, and I almost considered buying the WG on oyster, to satisfy my inkling for a PM on band, but a recent 5168g satisfied that urge and then some.

Edit: meant oysterflex, not oyster

Get the RG YM on OF. I am trying to order one once my AD reopens. I don’t expect to get it for months though because of what’s going on.

Thanks again, all.

I think I’ll post my BLRO in the classifieds for trade for the RG YM and see what happens. Don’t have a specific deal lined up or anything so we’ll see where interest is.

Sounds good, best of luck...before you do that you'll need to become a TRF pledge member; details can be found here : https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=277984
