It’s somewhat moot for me now as I went with a Santos de Cartier instead. But it would be good to know they are considering it for the future.

SA has no comms from HQ about straps. Been looking for alternatives but none that have appealed to me thus far.

For those of you that own a Hermes H08 and want a shorter strap, I’d recommend heading over to the Delugs website and ask Ken to take a look. Maybe he can come up with something. They recently announced VC Overseas straps, and also have something in the works for the Santos de Cartier.

Anyone buy the LE directly from Hermes? Curious to see the actual caseback and # whether 100 or 184.

It’s such a bummer about the lack of a shorter strap. I had purchased one of the first ones available directly from Hermes on the day it was announced but had to return it as the strap was laughably long and the boutique manager at the store here in town said corporate had no plans to make other straps currently. Such a missed opportunity as I really liked the H08 a lot.

I’m curious about that too. Apparently Hermès took the watch off their site rather quickly so I wonder if they were scolded by Hodinkee for making their 100 piece limited release look bad.

Anyways, there are already a few of the Hodinkee versions for sale on the typical platforms. Looks like people are asking about 9k for them.

I don't think they took it down because of that. I think it actually sold out. They drop items from their site when sold out

Has anyone ever gotten second straps from Hermès? Love mine, but orange will be fun in the summer.

Yes, I was very recently able to acquire a steel bracelet and a blue cloth strap. Mine came on the orange.

Hello. Am sure y’all know but there is a second adjustment to the strap, which accommodates smaller wrists.

Yes, just ordered the blue nylon (original piece on orange). Direct from Hermes Sydney.

No they actually never delivered my piece.
I paid in full months ago and now they’re telling me they expected some in but never received them so many orders may not get fulfilled.

By steel, of course I meant Titanium. The DLC black contrast with the titanium bracelet is an interesting look and I think it works. (Stock titanium bracelet version comes with the non-DLC case)
