Nice! Have the Toki coming as well - September or October. Also, just got the allocation for the Seiji a few minutes ago - order confirmed now. Looking forward to these pieces - really like what the brand is doing.

First time trying Veblenist. May have spelled that incorrectly. I’ve seen them list things here. When you order a “special instructions “ box pops up.

Asked for no taper, full salmon stitching on black suede. Hopefully it’ll turn out. Very attractive pricing. I may have to find a plain buckle. All of theirs have their name stamped on them.

<20 mm / Regular / Yes
Special Instructions (Optional):
Hello - per Michelle I’d like to customize this strap please. 20mm lugs - no taper. 20mm at the buckle too. Full box stitch. 20mm polished silver buckle.

The most important element is the stitch color. I need it to be as close as it can be to the salmon color of the Kurono Toki dial.

Thanks!>

Update - the folks at Veblenist followed up with me and recommend sticking with the stock 20-16 taper so I’m going with that. Still a few months away on the Toki.

My sister got the allocation email from the public interest list 2 days ago. Incredibly lucky it seems.

It’s here! Can’t open it as it’s an Xmas gift for the missus. Pretty sure she’ll opt to open it tomorrow.

One has already hit Chrono24. Yours for the low price of $11,145.

It’s an early gift. She loves it.

I don’t have access to my lights etc. so please excuse the less than studio quality.

There’s even a nice “thank you” card with a gift or omiyagi in Japanese.
After reading about some hand alignment issues it looks free of that problem.

Can’t wait for my Toki to arrive!

I think pastel blue works well on the new Rolex Oyster Perpetual and the Halios Seaforth. Heck, I reckon it even works on the Rolex Daytona Beach! I'm not so convinced by this Kurono. Perhaps if it had a different strap colour or a navy blue strap... Maybe I need to see photos of it in the sunlight.

Still trying to figure out what color strap for the Seiji. She thinks it’s perfect for summer. I’ll let her make the call.

Congrats!

Thank you. I’m thinking a light grey may pair very well. Excited to get this - already enjoying the Toki.

Has anyone tried changing the straps for the Seiji? I would think the white strap may not be for everyone and am thinking of options for when mine arrives.

Also, does the strap come with quick release or traditional pins?

Traditional pins. Haven’t switch it yet but need to.
Saw these pics and thought it was very complementary.

Thanks for the pics and info. Wow the dial really pops with the black strap.
