Diving with the Sub

Finally got to take the Sub on its first dive! (Apologies for the blurry GoPro photo, but the focus was on the dive)

OMG that watch is underwater, is it okay, are you sure that you've not damaged it, why on earth would you do that OP, it will lose so much of its value, think of the damage that the salt water will do to the watch.

What on earth were you thinking OP?

Nicely done OP, great to see the watch in its natural environment.

Very nice, where are you diving?
I also dive with my Sea-Dweller.

You can use the simple Dive+ app to easily apply color corrections.

I bought the watch exactly for this purpose so it was awesome using it in its natural environment! Definitely got beat up a bit on this trip, but to me, that adds some more sentimental value.

Thanks for the tip on the Dive+ app! Will check it out. Was diving in Kauai.

Great to see it being used as intended. I've dived many times with my 16710 GMT. I haven't yet dived with my Sea Dweller or Submariner as I didn't own them when I last dived although I have snorkelled with them on many occasions.

Awesome photo. My very 1st Sub was purchased at Crisson Jewelers in Bermuda in 1998, I went from the store to the dive boat and went on a wreck dive. You should have seen the looks I was getting from people as I was getting ready. I loved that watch and wish I never sold it.

Next time try Kona, best diving in the islands, IMHO

Dove off the Big Island a couple years ago and agree it has the best diving in Hawaii.

You only wear your watch underwater? Throw it in your gear bag between trips, do ya?

Awesome. That's who I'm going with. Have one trip to Niihau booked and hoping to dive most mornings. What was the water temp?

Haven't been able to go to Niihau yet, but hear it's awesome. Hope you have fun! Was pretty warm (~80F at the surface) and used a shorty wetsuit.

GoPro underwater filters are also worth to check.
