Icon4 Other than DavidSW, do yall have any "forum" grey market recommendations?

My AD has started ghosting me so I'm contemplating going grey market.

Either new 41mm or new Exp2. DavidSW prices seem to be on the higher side (more overheads?). Chrono24 is questionable.....

BobWatches came up on Google but some of his stock is without box/papers which really really makes me weary !!

Cheers lads!

OCwatchguy (OCRolexguy) & Takuya are few of fan favs. Never used them myself though. Out of all the TS, DSW is the most “jacked up” :)

I did a deal with justrolexes (Tony)

Perfect transaction, I highly recommend

Also got my OP41 from BCTIMEKEEPER. New guys without the long record, but they were a pleasure to do business with (see my review on them)

Add me on to this list, Tony has always treated me very fairly and goes out of his way to make it an easy and enjoyable experience.

I haven’t done any business with Patrick (OCRolexes) or DavidSW but would with either one of them in a second.

I personally bought from DavidSW, Au_911tt, Takuya, and OCRolexGuy. All purchase experiences have been top notch.

If I had to choose one, Chase (AU_911tt) is probably the most responsive and right to the point so have a slight bias toward steering my business to him first.

Just something that needs to be said…
Please also consider buying from other TRF members who have a good record. While I understand that David and Tony have a wonderful breath of stock, and are certainly trustworthy (I’ve bought watches from both of them), it’s sometimes really nice to make a relationship with another fellow watch collector. You can certainly save a little $$. because the prices from private folks is often a bit lower.
It’s just worth thinking about. For instance, I live about 20 miles from you, and if I have something to trade or sell, and it’s something you want, FTF meetings are often a great experience! I’ve bought 6-7 watches that way, and every time has been really fun. Of course, you use common sense, meet in a safe/neutral place (e.g. bank lobby w/ conference table), and all your other prerequisites have to be met.

We all immediately shift to buying from the big boys, for good reason, but there ARE other options, too.

Good luck on your collecting!

Oh, and I have some rather negative stories about Bob’sWatches, to be sure.
(Many others have been covered exhaustively on TRF!)

Caveat emptor!!

PS: Which AD were you working with? In Sac?

I have used both Sohais & AU_911T. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. If I'm looking for another watch? Those two would be my first calls. Good luck.

I would avoid Bob's for <personal experience> reasons which I shall not mention.

I have dealt with DAVIDSW and TAKUYA and would do so again at any time. They are fantastic.

I have been cultivating great experiences with many of our trusted sellers since the beginning. This is my list of go to professionals that know what my high expectations are.

In no particular order, I can verify and have purchased from:
