1960s Oyster Precision - Dial question

Good morning,

A friend of mine just purchased this 1964-65 6424 Oyster Precision. Looks great IMO, and according to the pictures of the listing the Serial Number, movement, t Swiss t check out.

However I have a question about the font size of the word OYSTER below ROLEX. It looks like the font size is the same for both words, which I don’t think I’ve seen elsewhere.

I know that different manufacturers used to produce Rolex dials so he’s not overly worried, but what do you think? Have you come across a dial like that? What do you think of the other pictures?

Many thanks in advance for your precious help, I’m always amazed at the wealth of knowledge across this forum.

Looks refinished to me too but that shouldnt effect its value. They did a handsome job and on an entry level piece like this, it wont effect its collectability IMO. Refinishing of dials was a very common practice and it would be somewhat hard to find a replacement dial today for it.

IMO the dial is repainted, as noted above.
