It’s really about what do you want and like. Personally I’d take it, for it gives you leverage to quickly obtain the Sub you desire. I’m surprised that if you hadn’t asked for it, yet got the call, that in its self is interesting.

So my AD this weekend said the demand is about the same if not more for the black. It used to always be like that before the great Rolex hype. I wonder if that had anything to do with it.

No I don’t exclusively, I’ve just always wanted a sub. I think I’ll get the Kermit and just have him put me down for a no date when one shows up. The more I think about it, the more excited I seem to be getting!

I’m in the opposite boat to you I’m waiting on a black Sub date but asked if there was any chance of getting a green one as if I’m being honest I would much prefer that one mainly because I’m a very colourful person and I already have a couple of black dial watches but was told it would not be possible so I guess it’s just luck of the draw as to what availability the AD has.

My AD called….

LV is an interesting one. You’ll have a private seller who will list mid 14s and get no bites. Than you’ll have a “trusted seller” list one in the 16s and also get no bites. Weird. But I think you should hang tight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree with those that say if you don't like it after a while, you can trade it out for the black sub. I think an LV is great in a collection but not as a one and only. Black is an all around watch.

I'd get what you want, not what is offered as available. I used to own a Hulk. The green was what I wanted, but it did make the watch far more blingy and less versatile compared to the black sub. The Starbucks (whatever it is called) is less extreme than the Hulk in that respect, but it is still not as under the radar and versatile as the black sub.
So ultimately the answer really comes down to your tastes. |

I have a no-date and green sub if I had to choose as an everyday. I would defiantly get a black sub

I have the MK1 LV sub, ND black sub, Batman on oyster, and a RG DD. Definitely my daily and my go-to is the green sub, it’s the right amount of colour and not as flashy without the PCLs and the bling. Also helps that green is one of my favourite colours.

I have the 126610LN and the MK1 LV. LV can be easily worn as a daily. You are lucky to get offered it, grab it.

Your dealer actually said “Mark 2” bezel?
FYI: The LVc is my Sub of choice and does everything from formal to vacation dives. It can easily be your one and only.

It’s far more versatile than many people think.
News flash, you don’t need to (and shouldn’t) match your watch with your shirt color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was told recently by a mid-level grey that the LV sells in the 15s all day long. Sometimes those private sales listings don’t move because the seller has a poor listing presentation and no credibility. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Excellent piece, but it wouldn't be a daily driver for me - just an occasional piece...

Hey there, I have a green OP 124300 and a TT sub 116613ln and I just love the green face for a daily. Having some color is nice and it is easy to match with literally any outfit and color. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I have the MKII and love it. Could easily be a daily driver. As others have said, it’s a matter of personal taste. I thought it would be just an occasional watch for me - but I find myself going back to it more and more and wear it more frequently than my BLNR.
Good luck. I think you’ll love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
