its a WL piece most places in the UK. Its not years, and if they tell you that they just want you to go away. IMO 3-6 months is about normal.

Ring around a few different AD's

The Sub date is down to a few months at some AD's so the non date should be about same or sooner

I placed my order in August last year for Sub date at the New Zealand agents and still waiting, there is an unofficial waiting list with next most "important customer” jumping the queue.

Unfortunately the supply shortage has not not done anything for customer sales relationship and there is no real avenue for feed back to Rolex.

The 114060 is just the submariner, not the sub non date or no date. Alternatively, there is the Submariner date available.

14/15* places I tried in February told me that their wait list was closed - some quoted 'years', even my local AD.

Have been waiting since Feb from the other place, and nothing so far.

Based on the above I should probably go try again. For the non-date I should add.

No, that's just calling the right names of the models, instead of using names that don't exist.

Yes, because everyone was confused by his post. Stop being pedantic.

I was looking in Edinburgh last week and both dealers suggested longer than a year, possibly nearer two!

ND sub is a a completely acceptable clarifier. If someone says Sub almost everyone assumes its the regular version which is also the most common version which has a date.

If OP said he was on the waitlist for a Sub C which version do you think the responses would be referring to for the most part?

My UK AD said ... that the 114060 sub is on the same allocation as the Daytona apparently. He mentioned they are receiving the same quantities of each in stock througout the year. Just that the Daytona waiting list is huge and less so with the submariner.

I guess I’m in the minority here because when I see Sub or SubC I always think of the version without the date.

That's crazy, does it mean they get more date than non date?

Not sure, he specifically mentioned the non date sub, that’s all. Three to four a year apparently. Always taken with a pinch of salt of course, but given he’s sold me one a year ago so not after one and we were just talking generally seems reasonable.

When someone says "Sub C", as i have noticed before most of the times and how i perceived it, it was referring to the Sub, not Sub Date, the 6 digit ref. It is not an acceptable clarifier, since the two models have very well defined names, so why people would reverse their naming instead of using it right, is a nonsense. If the majority assumes something, it doesn't mean it is right. However, the name derives from the movement in use, as the name on the dial is the same

I didn’t realize the tight supply of all professional models in certain markets.

I hope you can find one somewhere sooner OP
