Unexpected incoming

Stopped by my AD today to show my buddy (owner) a new non Rolex I received. Started browsing and ended up buying this one! Have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this watch is..wears very well despite its size. Pretty happy to have this one in the collection.

Those random, on a whim purchases are the best and sometimes most fun.... except in my case when I get home and have to explain it to the wife

Congrats! Looks good on you and the size fits you well! At 44mm, I couldn't pull it off since I have a small wrist. A 40mm is about the max for me. The YM II is a very impressive looking watch. Even if someone is not into watches, you know it's something special! Enjoy!

Always been one of my favorites.

My next watch no doubt will have a white Dial

I primarily am set on the new OP39 or most likely the DJ41 White / Smooth/ Oyster

However I have seen some prime condition pre-owned YMII's selling at 13k.. may just have to pull the trigger..

while not a forum favorite neither is my Air-King.. but I like what I like and the Yacht-Master II has always been an outstanding looking Rolex to me and one I feel is over looked.

Excellent Spur of the moment purchase

I’ve been really admiring the YM II lately. It’s a sharp watch.

Thanks guys!! Went to dinner and then the mall and had about 4 people make comments about it. That NEVER happens. This one has never really been on my radar at all. Put it on at the AD and heard that little song...rest is history. I think I made a good decision and I’m a sucker for a white dial Rolex.
