So I’m after a sd43.Where I live,preowned is 3k us over list.
What’s the availability like at an AD in the us,id rather spend the extra dollars on a holiday there and try and pick up one at retail.
Also what is us retail price.
Thanks for any help.

You would be very lucky to find an SD43 available at an AD in the US.

Plus in most of US you will have to pay Sales Tax on top of MSRP.

I would take a trip to the USA if you’re on vacation, try to visit a small town with an ad and you’ll be surprised it will be sitting in the display case.

I wish you nothing but the best of luck in finding one in the US. A few members have reported finding them here and there but I personally had no such luck...ended up grabbing it from a trusted seller just over msrp.

There was one at a Texas AD .. reported earlier today I think

Hopefully the member will report in with where. Maybe start calling around, there can’t be that many ADs in Texas

Agreed.
It will be a very hit and miss proposition with many more misses.
From experience, I wouldn't waste too much of my holiday time looking.

You'd be better of going to a trusted seller here on this forum or get one from a grey if you absolutely can't wait.
If you can wait then your local AD may be best?

I'd PM the posters who says you can find one USA and ask for help first, don't buy a ticket to come here and come home empty handed. So far I coud not find one myself. Good luck!

Bit the bullet and bought it from my grey dealer.
He knocked me a bit off so that sweetened it a little.
Once I had it on my wrist there was no going back.
Thanks for all the suggestions
Obligatory wrist shot.
