Tudor BB 58 bracelet issue.
I recently purchased a new 58 , love it But...
Having a problem getting the bracelet sized to my wrist . I take out 3 links and adjust the micro to largest position - decent fit but gets snug during the day need a bit larger With 2 links out and micro to smallest setting it's too large A half link would be great. Or one more adjustment in micros. Any one else find this an issue ? More importantly any solution ? |

Put in another link and use the micro adjustment to compensate as needed.

Wrist is about 7" or a bit less at times
I have tried all combinations with available options to no avail Had same issue with Omega's Seamaster & Speedmaster. They had half links but lacked any micro adjustment |

I was never able to get it right on my Explorer, but sourced half link from an AD and viola! A perfect fit

I'm dealing with the same issue with my new 214270. Seems either too tight or loose. I miss the micro adjustment straps.
They have a half link for the 214270?? |

The 58 looks like it might very well be my next purchase, but this worries me. I know I’ve been very spoiled by the easy link on my oyster.

I have this same problem with the BB58 bracelet & adjusted it 3 separate times at the AD. In the end, the best thing I could do is to wear it looser than I would like. Not ideal but I really like the watch. It feels normal after a few days.

I tried on my friend's one for a few days and I had this exact issue. I sized it similar to how I would wear any 6 digit reference and it was either snug but would be uncomfortable as the day wore on or just too big to wear off the bat. An half link would have defintely helped here. It's strange as I have had Black Bays before and never had this issue but then the bracelet on the 58 is probably smaller.

Clasp for the strap version is a nightmare as well. Shape is wrong. Cost or design issue?

To be honest, I would put it on a leather strap and forget worrying about it.

Would you consider a leather or nato strap?

Would a half link from a SubC fit? I’m struggling to get a perfect fit too which is a shame as it’s such a great watch.

A solution suggested in another group was to put a thin self adhesive rubber pad in the clasp to take up a tiny bit of slack.

Same for BB58 - link out and biggest micro adjustment = just too tight. Link in and smallest micro adjustment = just too loose.
Will enquire at AD tomorrow re half links and feed back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know this won’t help much for the OP but the 58 fits me perfectly for anyone wanting one and is worried.
The glide lock really does spoil you and the older clasps one 5 digit GMTs have a pretty huge range of adjustment. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw with wrist sizes: One thing I will say is my Daytona’s also suffer some inbetween sizing depending on heat. I prefer to get it well sized for cold / morning fitment, this means it will get tighter when hot. I use the easy link on the Daytona. With the 58, you just need to accept it gets tight. It’s comfortable for me |

The lack of half links and/or a 4th or 5th adjustment pin on the clasp was a terribly obnoxious oversight by Tudor. I have the new Seamaster Diver 300m on a bracelet and, love or hate that bracelet, I must say Omega invested some serious energy into the fit of it. It has the micro adjust and half links. Even without the micro adjust I can dial in the fit close to perfect.
Maybe Tudor will release half links for the BB58 riveted bracelet :). I can dream. |

Have it adjusted for a loose fit in the morning in the morning if that makes any sense. When I first wake up and strap on my BB58 it pretty much just falls down below my wristbone and hangs on my hand.
A few hours later it's a good fit, never have issues with it being too tight. Would I like to have an easylink or something similar? Of course it would be nice (The Omega clasp has a really nice push-button adjustment - my favourite!) but it's not a necessity. Did you try a full day from morning to evening with 1 link out and adjusted to smallest position? |

Frankly, Tudor shouldn't be releasing dive watches without an adjustable clasp anymore. They're beyond that. The Pelagos clasp is incredible, and they should put the same adjustablity into the Black Bay. Maybe without the spring setting.

I ended up going with the tighter setting. I started this same thread last year.
The bracelet stretched just a small amount over the first year, and now is crazy comfortable and is my everyday wearer. Had they done 5 micro adjustments, this wouldn’t be a problem. Another guy sourced a Rolex solid link bracelet from the 90’s and loved that. |

One of the problems is how well the case hugs the wrist... makes it wear tighter.

For those willing to go the extra mile on getting the right fit, some have installed an easy link on the BB58 bracelet as shown below (don't own a BB58, but being mod friendly would be something would do if had one and could not get the right fit as pointed out by some people above):

Once Tudor adds a glidelock to the BB58 I'll be a buyer. My wrist expands a lot throughout the day in the summer and love it on the new Subs. Perfect fit every time.

I'll add that I have a BB58 too and the fit is great for me. For reference, I have about a 6.75" wrist.

Actually, I have the same problem with my Pelagos. Tudor doesn't make half links for it, which is what I need. I'm looking into getting one made for it.

At this point there’s no reason why every watch shouldn’t have some sort of glidelock system. This is the way.
