New Rolex Root Beer GMT

I know that new SS sport watches are in short supply. My AD called and said he had access to a Root Beer GMT. I was looking for a pepsi, but is this a phenomenal opportunity or are these widely available since they include gold and are more expensive than all SS.

Did he specify whether it's solid gold or two tone? From what I've seen here, the solid gold one seems more readily available. The two tone, while not anywhere near as difficult as the highly desired SS models, is a bit tougher to source. Either way I'd personally call it a phenomenal opportunity because it is a phenomenal watch.

Not super easy to get hold of but not nearly as rare as a BLRO, BLNR or Daytona C

Stick to the one you really want for yourself. Do not settle. However check out that GMT in person, it is a stunner.

Thanks for all the input. It is the two-tone, not the solid. I am going to check it out in person, but I just want to make sure that I make a wise investment if I like to watch. While I am not in the duster or looking to make an investment, I don't want to be wise with my money.

Both are not growing on trees but the two tone root beer is actually more readily available than the full Rosegold. Weird but true. My dealer has several footballers on his list and they’ve been waiting for a while now for the full gold.

Don't buy something just because it may be perceived as rare, but rather because you actually like and want it. That being said, this watch is amazing in person. You should definitely try it on at least

It's not a watch you'll see just sitting in the display case. That being said, it's also not impossible to get. You should be able to get one in a relatively short period of time with a bit of hustle, even easier if you have some kind of existing relationship with an AD (not saying you need to be a big spender there).

Can't comment on the availability of the PM model. Not surprised to hear it's harder to get because there are less out there. I know for the TT my AD could get me one in a very short time window if I was serious about purchasing.

Yeah, you can get a TT CHNR in 3-4 months, or even sooner depending on the situation.

That being said, I also went in looking for a Pepsi and came out with a Rootbeer.

Rootbeer blew me away and I don't regret switching soft drink allegiances. I think it's worth a look if you can go check it out.

I’ve been waiting months for my TT Root Beer. You may want to check it out at your AD. It shows much better in person than in the photos.

Was offered the tt root beer from my AD, all I can say was WOW. After seeing the tt root beer and the ss pepsi in person, the pepsi did nothing for me but the root beer, still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger.

Buy the root beer and then buy pepsi when it's available. Availability of PM vs TT depends on the country and demographics. As someone here said in his area PM is more scarce than TT. In other places it's the other way around, and others they are both scarce or available.

Agree when you see it ..this watch ticks all the boxes...it's a work of watch art..
Like Vincent van goughs Sunflower painting it looks much better in real life than in a photo ..
The CHNR is a stunner and could be the first ever two tone to compete with the stainless when people realise this watch new is the same price as a second hand stainless

My area the PM CHNR is not available since release and the dealer would not make a wait list aswell. Its funny when some people complain over PM/SS bundle offers they get and here I cant even get the PM itself! Rose gold is hot
