Who calls regarding your service?
So my Daytona is in the RSC in London (I'm assuming as I live in Wales U.K) I went through Watches Of Switzerland for the service and was wondering who calls to quote the exact price the service will cost, WOS or the RSC themselves? So I know what number and location to keep an eye out for when the call comes through as I (and probably a lot of other people) get bogus calls from unrecognised numbers from time to time.
Also how do they come back these days? People I know have received there's in different kinds of boxes and packaging.... anyone know what current after service boxes etc are being used upon their return at the moment? Years ago my Datejust came back in its original box as I took it all in. |

Since you went through WoS you are not a direct client for the RSC and they will not contact you.

You will be getting an email with an attachment prepared by the RSC detailing the watch, the required work, and optional work and all associated costs.
A phone call is useless unless it is work performed under a warranty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

If you are dealing with an AD, you need to express to them what you want to see regarding your estimate.
Many AD's give a verbal go-ahead to the service without ever consulting you, to include approving items you may not actually want or need.

This was mentioned to me in WOS. They said I would be contacted regarding what needs doing and how much it would cost. "If it was a 3 thousand pound job for example, you may not want to go ahead with it" or words to that effect is what was used. They asked if I wanted to be contacted by email or phone, I said either or both.
