MontBlanc StarWalker...yay or nay?

Hey guys and gals, I’m looking for a new weekender pen. I was thinking the MontBlanc StarWalker ballpoint either black/platinum or midnight black/gunmetal.

Any pros or cons?

YUP! I left it at a Starbucks after signing a bill. Went back and they said they never saw a pen!

I did buy another thinner one (see picture). I like it and haven't managed to lose it yet.

I do write with a ballpoint 75% of the time. Paperwork at work. My fountain pens bleed through it all the time.

I have one and frankly I use my 15 dollar Parker jotter more, I find it too bulky and even a bit cheap feeling for a 300+ pen.

Have you tried rollerball ? It’s a good halfway option between the two. Doesn’t need the pressure a ballpoint does and puts down a nice wet line more akin to a FP.

Agree with above post. Rollerball's are great. I can't use a ballpoint anymore, rollerball is always my go-to. I usually leave the fountains at home unless we're going to a nice place for dinner.

Oh yeah, I do have an write with RB pens quite often. I just use BP most of the time at work.

If you like using ball points, like the looks of MB Starwalker, can afford the MB Starwalker then get the MB Starwalker BP.

I love rollerballs. But when I picked up this ceramic Starwalker extreme bp I was really impressed with its smoothness. It’s a hefty pen but well balanced.
