AP in BH?

Hi All,

I popped in to the South Coast AP boutique a couple of weeks ago and chatted for a bit with a SA who created a profile for me and noted my interests in the AP system. True to form, they had one RO in a display case which I was not allowed to try on.

I will be in LA again in a couple of weeks but was thinking about visiting the new AP Boutique in BH to see maybe if they had more than one watch in the store and if they would let me try one on. I'm particularly interested in sizing so I can make a more informed selection on which watch im after.

Additionally, BH is closer to my home and so I might ask for a new SA at the BH location. Is that frowned upon?

Has anyone had any recent experience with the selection and opportunity at the new AP Boutique in BH?

Thanks

Both South Coast and BH are now AP corporate owned. I'm don't think AP really cares whether you use one boutique or multiple boutiques. Having said that, you are better off dealing with one boutique and establishing a relationship.

If South Coast built a profile for you on the Ipad and not an interest card, that means you now have a profile in the AP system. BH will be able to see that as well.

I highly doubt you will have any better luck at BH versus South Coast, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try. The important thing is to establish a good relationship with an SA. Whoever you hit it off best with is going to be your best chance of getting an allocation in the future.

I was just in the BH boutique a couple of days ago. Only mens watch to see or try on was the purple dial Code (very nice). They also had a few women’s watches.

I'm new to AP also.
Agreed with all points my man said above.
I'll add, SAs are slammed. Be cool, be courteous.
Good luck.

Fantastic visit to the BH Boutique today… no pieces to try on but had a great conversation with the SA… I was in the system but did not have an identified SA… so I will shop with my SA in BH going forward… kind courteous and welcoming staff.

Everyone in the BH boutique are amazing. Ebony, Ari and Kimberly are all top notch SAs. The new boutique director Kathy is exceptional too. They will go above and beyond for their clients. Last time I was there, they noted doing more events and have an AP house type of atmosphere where clients can come to hangout.

No matter which store BH or South Costa Mesa it will be difficult to find any watches to try on. Wish you best of luck!
