AP ROC (Pre Purchase Questions)

Hi,

I am very close to buying a AP ROC 26320 Blue Dial.

I've two questions that I'd love some help with.

01 - La Boutique: The one I am looking at is a 'La Boutique' edition. What does this actually mean. I've read that it's to do with the opening of a new boutique? Does it mean it is limited in numbers? Is there anything on the watch to signify that it is a 'La Boutique' version? Any other info on this?

02 - Large 'Seconds' Hand: I find it strange that the large seconds hand for the chronograph sits fixed at 12, cutting through the AP logo. It's a little frustrating that it covers the logo. I've also read that some people just leave the chronograph running 24/7 because of the way the chronograph movement is engineered in the watch? Apparently it doesn't put any wear or tear on the movements, which I thought sounded strange. Any thoughts on this.

Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated.

02 - I don’t have a ROC, but on my Omega Speedmaster, I sometimes stopped the seconds timer at around 10 seconds to keep the Omega logo uncovered.

Haha, it doesn't bother me that much, and I think I would find it more off putting leaving it randomly stopped at 10 seconds :-)

Thanks for the input

It wasn’t random—it was 10. :-)

I owned the 26320 blue for a long time, it was one of my favorite watches, you will enjoy it. I ran the second hands everytime I wore it, without stop. Never any issues nor required servicing due to movement wear. It is my favorite blue hue from AP, the subsequent blue dial on the 26331, IMO, was too dark.

Any vertical clutch chrono can be run continuously. :)
