I don't, but it looked more then likely you would be lonely in this thread so i posted. Some of the watches are great, but collecting Breitlings only is limiting to my watch palate.

Seriously?? There might be such folks somewhere but why would they join a forum named 'RolexForum' while having only Breitling watches?

I have quite a few Breitling's but also have watches from Rolex, JLC, Glashutte Original, Bremont and Omega. In my opinion you really need to expand your horizons beyond any one brand!

Funny you asked that. I've contemplated it not too far in the past, but I enjoy other brands as well.

I think Breitlings are great watches! Probably the toughest in the biz.

for me -- life is too short to only own a single brand ..

so far i have 1 breitling .. but i'm on the hunt for a second one. -- and i now think i'll end up with at least 3 .

At one point I only had 3 Breitlings, a Steelfish, Seawolf and Avenger Skyland. Then I joined TRF and Rolex and others happened.

My first breitling was the shark auto (lost) . Then the super ocean (traded) , aerospace, montbrillant, Navitimer 1461 (stolen) , and now the only breitling I have is my Navitimer cosmonaute which I like a lot.

The Navitimer chronographs are truly exquisite timepieces.

I really liked the aerospace as a tool watch, but in the real word, it felt like a toy compared to the omega Z-33 Skywalker and had to go.

I think having at least one breitling adds to any watch collection and have always had at least one in the last 30 years.
It would be too boring to have just one brand.

Breitlings newest Navitimer 1's are looking quite attractive, but the loss of the wings takes away from the breitling charm.

I started with only tags. Then only omega. And now I try to mix it up and get variety

I'll take the bait.

I joined this forum a few months back, at which time I was looking at few different rolex watches only.

To cut a long story short after listening to all this talk about waiting times and limited availability of certain models I decided I'd look at breitling.

Found a breitling that I thought was nicer than the rolex watches and purchased it. So I guess I have an only Breitling collection of one watch although it may be a stretch to call it a collection.

Very happy to have discovered the brand.

I agree with many of the posts. I used to be a huge Breitling only fan but quickly realized that if you are going to have a collection ( micro or large) it's better to have an assortment of different brands if only just to keep the been-there-done-that factor down.

While I could see a Breitling only collection, I like variety.

Collecting just one brand, no matter which brand, makes little sense to me.

I used to, then I learned the comfort of Hublot and added them to the collection. That opened my mind, and now I will collect most anything.

There is another forum called Breitling source dot com. On that forum is a very well respected member named watchfred. This guy has an AMAZING Breitling collection. Not sure if he only collects Breitling but he has quite a few pieces. Look him up if you have time.

Ive also read of a guy who only collects breitling. I think he’s an aviation guy.

As for me, i only have my one navitimer.

Just to have one. Grew up watching Skulls and Bones where movie depicted Breitling as the “it” watch.

Hi Dave: Really nice photo of your dad's watches.

I have similar (to your first watch)
but mine is TT model B1335611/A572 - beautiful in sunlight, mother of pearl dial and diamond markers

So far I have two Navitimers. But soon I'll have more than just Breitling as I'm looking into getting a seamaster in the coming weeks
